my first long portrait of my girlfriend marla. it’s worth pointing out how incredibly fortunate I am to have her come into my life intimately at a time when i’m so eager to learn about video. The timing is moving for me. I happened into a really great camera for hd video (olympus ep-1) without putting out a lot of cash thanks to a great friend trading for it and had this fantastic music offered to me by one of the band members who follows my photography on flickr. combine those three elements and a willingness to learn and you get beauty, sometimes.

it’s hard not to feel deeply for her when she provides such a wonderful, open, willingness to embrace my creative impulses. this is a unique gift in the form of her.
